Sightseeing around Cape Town

On Table Mountain

Table Mountain is a must place to visit in Cape Town. It's about 3,000ft. above the town and is often affected by winds, so we had to wait for a clear day to visit.
We also visited Robben Island, a ferry ride away from Cape Town, where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 16 years. Other excursions were to Hout Bay, Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope, the Paarl area and Stellenbosch for wine tasting, and to the Aquila Game park for close encounters with African wildlife. Unlike in New Zealand and Japan, I did not drive in South Africa; I felt it would be risky.
